Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What We Collect

When you vote, we record your vote choice, an anonymized hash of your IP address, a browser fingerprint (canvas rendering + screen/hardware data), and your approximate country based on your IP. We do not collect your name, email, or any personally identifiable information.

How We Use It

We use this data solely to prevent duplicate votes and to display country-level results on the world map. IP hashes are one-way and cannot be reversed to obtain your actual IP address.

Cookies & Storage

We store your vote choices in your browser's localStorage so you can see your results when you return. This data never leaves your device unless you use the Opinion Passport share feature.

Third Parties

We may use analytics tools to understand aggregate site traffic. These tools do not receive individual vote data.
